OUR DIVISION HISTORY
|
The Division of Great Significance had it's humble beginnings in the spring of 2002. Many of us used to play the MLS fantasy game provided by Yahoo! but, when that suddenly went away, we were forced to find another league. My intense search led to a great discovery, MFLS. A blessing in disguise, I loved the way this league handled scoring and lineup changes. So, I immediately signed up a team. I had enough friends to produce a core of about 8 teams, and then went on a mad recruiting effort to locate and invite division-less teams to join our division (note: there were no forums at this time). Thus, I did manage to get 20 teams, and went on to have a mediocre season. Things have progressed greatly since then, and we now compete with the top divisions in the league. I plan to stick around for a long time, and I hope our managers do the same. |
